USS Boxer  
16th Annual Reunion

The USS Boxer Veterans Association is composed of those who have served their country aboard the aircraft carrier from her commissioning to decommissioning. They total approximately 50,000 men. We will have a mini-reunion of former shipmates of the USS Boxer in Shreveport, La.  The USS Boxer Veterans Association of Texas/Louisiana will hold its 16th annual mini-reunion in Shreveport, La., at the Holiday Inn Downtown/Riverfront on April 17-19. Summer Balloon Classic Coming to Waxahachie!

The first annual Summer Balloon Classic will be held at MidWay Airport on Highway 287, between Waxahachie and Midlothian, from June 20-22, 2008. Fifty balloons are expected to participate in various events, including 4 different hot air balloon launches, a “Lites in the Nite” Balloon Glow at sunset and a nationally sanctioned competition. There is no charge to attend the festival, but parking is $5.00.

The Valentines – A Family with a Heart
