WATER LILIES AND PONDS

The North Texas Water Garden Society is sponsoring its annual Pond Tour this weekend, Saturday, June 9 through Sunday, June 10. The Tour includes 42 ponds or water gardens throughout the Metroplex, including 11 special ponds in Ellis County on display. These beautiful creations of nature and devotion are available for viewing from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 8:00 p.m. to midnight on Saturday.

Tickets are $10.00 per magazine for the entire tour, and may be purchased at various garden centers. The descriptive magazine includes a map of the pond and water garden locations. The Greenery Garden Centers in both Waxahachie and Midlothian have magazines available.

The annual Pond Tour supports the North Texas Water Garden Society's programs to educate and encourage a greater appreciation in water gardens and ponds. Visit their website at www.ntwgs.org for more information.
